This brief portfolio gives a glimpse into my past experience as a design leader. While the visuals of the portfolio are nice to look at, my most meaningful work has been with designing teams & amplifying people’s leadership.


Product Vision

Design helps to visualize the north star or 1-2 year product vision so we have a long-term outcome to strive for. This vision is typically grounded in people’s needs and current problems, whether or not they realize they have an issue in their lives. Co-creation & agreement of principles around the vision is key for consensus building.


Design Execution & Operations

  • Flexible engagement model with trusted collaboration between product, engineering, and design. Bias towards experimentation, learning and failing fast.

  • Environment of psychological safety so designers can do their best work.

  • Scaling and retention of the team. Recruiting is about continual relationship building within the design community.

Team Coaching & Support

  • Establish a vision for the future of design in the organization.

  • A day-to-day understanding of what each designer does best, and where they want to grow.

  • Long term understanding of each designer’s hopes & dreams, and how this job fits into that journey.
